Open %windir%\SoftwareDistribution e.g.

Start services.msc (or Open Task Manager and click on Services), locate the Windows Update service (wuauserv).Run dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /RestoreHealth.From the Administrative command prompt (clean up any errors).
